Sandfire Resources (ASX:SFR) is reporting an increased mineral resource at its DeGrussa Copper-Gold mine in Western Australia.
An additional 64,000 tonnes of contained copper and 93,000 ounces of gold has been added to Degrussa’s mineral inventory.
That’s on top of the total mineral resource at the mine of 664,000 tonnes of contained copper and 777,000 ounces of contained gold.
The increase reflects a successful surface drilling program at DeGrussa targeting the two deepest high-grade deposits.
Sandfire Resources posted a net profit of $79.1 million for the first half of the current financial year.
