WHat is desperately missing I feel is also a disclosure of "short" in the position disclosure.
I feel this is relevent to both Lynas forum (particular) and all of teh stock threads in fact.
A short position is a position. You can either hold, not hold or be short.
The forums are anonymous we get that but I do think people for better or worse are coming to "informed" decisions from reading these pages.
A disclosure or "short" prior to submitting a post at least places a moral obligation of honesty when posting.
Over the years posting here, I think most if not all are honest about this disclosure because I think most know we are responsible for our content.
I have seen people when posting, taking pains and going to the effort of posting comments appologising or correcting previous posts when they have inadvertently incorrectly disclosed their position.
I think the same would hopefully hold true for those when it would become incumbent on them to disclose a short position.
