I've been watching the Giro D'Italia. It's been fascinating so far although last night and tonight are flat stages so not a lot of excitement.
Chatting on the BBC about the Giro is difficult, they disregard Cadel and think the sun shines out of Sir Bradleys backside. It has been fun to watch them squirm as Wiggins has dropped off the pace and our Cadel sits 41 secs behind the leader Vincenzo Nibali in 2nd place.
Cadel said he was just using the Giro as a warmup for the tour, but that's rubbish. He rarely rides the Giro and it is almost impossible to do the double.....so he's going for it. TJ will probably lead BMC for the tour.
Can Cadel win the Giro, I'd love to see it. Nibali is a clear favourite, but Cadel's been riding so well.
Anybody else watching, this could be another great cycling moment for Australia.
