    Hi SP,

To me your post was a complete surprise since you have been so emphatic in your posts on gold and even more so in the last week or two.

    And now a complete change.

I don't think the gold bull is over, in fact I don't think we've seen very much of it at all yet - certainly nothing at all of public mania or parabolic price rise.

Undoubtedly what's been happening with the POG over the last 4 weeks or so has been a shock to most bulls and it would have been a lot 'more comfortable' if it hadn't occurred, but it did and I don't think it's over yet.

I believe there's nothing natural about this particular fall - ie it's not market-driven but man-made, probably by the fed and some other party/parties. For mine they've done it extremely effectively and they will do more.

The chart is from Rubino's article Golden Bullseye which I found interesting. The author points out that if the support line is significantly broken, then a drastic fall could take place quite rapidly. I think that's what the orchestrator/s are aiming for ... and they're nearly there.

I'm fortunate in that the gold and silver I have was purchased years ago at low cost. I can afford to wait this 'correction' out and at the moment watch US Bonds, the US$ and the price of Crude oil with more intent than I do the POG.

On the general forum, not under gold, I recently posted The Bernanke Agenda - It Isn't What You Think It Is .

I found it really interesting and have reread it twice since I posted it. I wonder if his conjecture might be correct - time will tell.

    Anyway, enough from me.

    cheers mate
