GST should be increased to 12 1/2% or maybe even 15% and be applied to EVERYTHING.
EVERYTHING, no exceptions and no exemptions.
Even unions, charities and other non-profit organisations should pay.
I'm sure Treasury can work out what the appropriate compensation should be for low income earners and pensioners.
They did it for the Carbon Tax, what's the difference with this???
It would simplify things if it was applied across the board.
