Ahh that would be nice. Unfortunately Hurtleys example you mention is best best best case scenario which would value us at about $20 billion dollars with options included.
The 3d seismic and drilling would not only need to prove copius amounts of oil, but also Elvis living in a submarine, the lost ark of the covenants and the only ever discovered mermaid colony in the world too.
Our dream scenario realistically would be another HDR (Hardman Resources). We have the potential for that to occur by all means - if all the planets align for us with the Seychelles. They were bought out by Tullow in 2006 for $2.02 per share and had proved up a couple hundred million barrels from memory.
That's as carried away as I would ever hope to get.
