Sorry, you're wrong. You've got your units mixed up. First thing is to get the units uniform throughout the equation. Everything is in lbs. and in. except Q, which is in ft.lbs. So multiply 30831 by 12 to get in.lbs.
dsherwood, I get the sqrt as 62340.49788 rather than 114749.
So PI is 37.69 lb.in, or 3.14088 lb.ft.
And that is the life of PI !!
For the check calc, go through it again just in units: in^4, lbs^2 etc. and it all comes out with lb.in on both sides.
