mike, the first thing you have to do is get the units the same. You couldn't have Nm on one side and dyne.cm on the other.
It's just the first stage in doing any engineering solution.
And for the others, if pi is ever written, it is always in lower case. If you just put pi into that equation well, the two sides are not equal. So it is definitely not pi!
