I think with conventional gas at Cook Inlet, they hand back some license area's as apparently what gas had been located was tight and not commercial flow. As how much they handed back and how much is still unexplored I don't know.

However with the significant Coal finds suitable to UCG, this may put them in the box seat once UCG is up and running, with ready made customers.

On the downside, as we know, UCG is yet to be up and running. Any news on the Wyoming front? Bureaucracy there seems to be on par with ours in Qld for timeliness.
