Often when a company dual lists, they do it in conjunction with a cap raise to instos in the new country. The instos then creats the market, promotes it to their clients, etc.
The fact that Austex is listing without a Cap raise is significant IMHO 1) It suggests that they do not need capital - this would be an logical time to raise if they needed it.
2) The TSX shares will be current ASX shares which get moved over to that registry. Anyone can do this I believe if they prefer to trade on the TSX instead.
The net result is unchanged supply with bigger demand. This can only be positive.
I don't think the admin changes are huge because alot of the stiff they do for the ASX applies for the TSX also.
I was seriously expecing this event to occur with a cap raise so well done AOK for not needing one!! (I hope anyway ...)
