Tomorrow I hope to go through the old quarterlies to see when exactly all the debt is due. I was surprised the debt was described as short-term as on my previous reading, I thought most of it was 1-2 years away.

The convertibles could be extended through negotiation.

But its one of those self-fulfilling prophecy situations (which are common in the finance) whereby if everyone believes, then CR will succeed and creditors will be more willing to rollover debt (or not play as hardball as they might otherwise do). In this scenario, we might not even need all the money being raised by the CR. Conversely, no one believes...well...

Hence the importance management getting ahead of the curve and letting the plebs (us) know what the big guys are going to do.
