blacks - the question is whether to take a quick profit on what you bought in an averaging down excersise - or stick with the original longer term strategy. that's the bit i never get right - the upswing makes me hold tighter with my new found enthusiasm. i hang on too long, then get stuck again and that's why i haven't averaged down this time.

i'm going to wait until i see what sort of trend gold is going to follow - and i will no doubt miss most of the upside!
