After the initial opening agonising 30mins i watched, before i had to go out, it seemed as if this process was to going to take many more days of debate. Bill Johnston just kept rambling..
However, i later checked out the details of the proceedings, and it looks like they worked into the night.

An example of how sharp the Labor Member for Canning:
At one point on p.50 Bill Johnston Labor MP actually says

"That is right; nobody knows whether there is any gas. We are pretty confident, but somebody has to find the stuff..."

Imagine not laughing at that point. Priceless.


Mr. Barnett replies "I think they have found it. I think it is more how to extract it."
