Society is people living in mutual interdependence
The more poverty, the more gross inequity, the more crime. It is in the interest of those better off to look after those worse off
Businesses rely on workers. The very fact that people who are workers do not have the drive of business people is an asset for business people because they have less competition
Imagine if we were all born with the inclination to be multi-millionaires. How competitive would it be? Who would supply the labour so business could produce profits?
