can anyone explain the small trades??

    PEM is trading around $0.85 today and so far there have been 60 trades for a sum total of 100,711 shares. The strange part is the 49 separate trades each under 350 shares (approx $297 per trade) Assuming that the minimum comission still applies, this is not a cost effective way to buy shares!!! Any clues as to what's going on?
