re: interview with psycharitrist 24/10 It is hopeless trying to explain to non sharemarket literate people what happened to me--I made the classic mistake--of losing so much money--then through greed trying to rectify the situation by too much overleveraging--for I tried to get all the losses back quick time--I received small amounts of money from tax returns and so forth--and then I lost several amounts of money--when really what I should have done is waited and been patient--put all the money together--pay proper attention to risk reward and safety downside risk opportunity cost of capital etc--the reality is though--a non sharemarket literate person--has no idea what you are going on about--so the psycharitrist just puts me down as a gambler with a problem--when people say to me--hey your middle aged and you have nothing--why is that?--it is too long of a story to go into great detail --simple to say--"I lost all my dough on the stockmarket"--then they say--oh your a gambler!--rather than debate--I just say yes--thats right I'm a gambler--that everyone understands--to me the stockmarket is not gambling--it's a number of things one of which is controlled risk.
    anyway just thoughts......
