Rubes thanks for your honest reply. I were not referring to an open cut mine by the way. 95% of the towns people don't want Mantle around here period. Mantle didn't even come and talk to the towns folk before hand, Which I find very arrogant. An applicant for an exploration or mining license is meant to advertise the application in the local newspaper, So what did they do? They advertised in the Warragul Gazette! Trying to sneak under the radar. Mirboo North has a local paper. What about Callignee! They lost 10 lives and 151 houses in the 09 bush fires and Mantle have the audacity to apply for a exploration license which takes in Callignee. No one wants them around here mate! I am not a greenie (not that there is anything wrong with that) I am just your average bloke on the street that has had enough of this company thinking it can do what the f@#k it likes. People here have had enough. This is just my view and I understand you guys see it differently as most of you only have dollars signs in your eyes but surely some of you understand where I am coming from? Cheers
