jovanco, australian engineering firms and fabricators are easily capable of handling the modules, our standard of work and quality of finish is much higher hear in australia. Its just cheaper to get them made in korea, ship them over here and then pull them all apart, fix them so there all correct and reassemble them than it is to construct them here correct in the first place, it just goes to show you how uncompetitive our manufacturing is here.
another example, its cheaper to bring over concrete slabs in sea containers from china for footpaths at the mining camps and lay them than it is for the granno's to setout,pour and finish concete here in australia.
