Asf, because SMA is defined by the ASX as a mining company it has to report as a mining company.
The IT side of SMA activities has not yet developed enough to outweigh the mining side. Accordingly any non mining activities get reported at the bottom of the report as "non-mining subsidiary sales".
Some of us still have hopes that SMA will achieve momentum in China: if that happens then SMA could get re-listed by the ASX as a non-mining company. Only time will tell!
