SS you circled the 'settlement day date' not the 'trade day date.' Look at the trade date for the price of the share...that's the price he paid. Settlement date for commsec is 3 days AFTER trade date. You can theoretically have no money in the account on the day you bought your shares....but you must make sure that the money is in the account 3 days AFTER purchasing. It's always been the case with commsec.
