Sadly your trying to work something out that you would only know about if you was in the room when I was with my bank manager lol, which now means you are making assumptions.

I arranged a fee with the bank but they made a mistake & charged me the usual fee I have a deal that has now been corrected & it is a bit more complicated then me just telling you a set figure or percentage
I was not expecting the Spanish inquisition but I am surprised that you are unaware that many advertised products with banks can be changed under certain circumstances. Term deposits, mortgage rates are all flexible but if you go in & ask they always knock you back, you have to go in with an incentive for them to want your business. Simple
Clearly you chose not to apologise for the mix up so sadly I am very disappointed you have turned this into a witch hunt
I knew when I was contemplating posting my trades that something like this would happen, I'm just surprised it is you
