kincella, there are lot of potential causes for continuing pain post operatively. 1. Inflammation > try antiinflammatories for 3 days to see if any change 2. Swelling > antiinflamms + regular deep icing of the whole knee, as cold as u can take without freezing it 3. Weakness > strength exercises, particularly quads 4. Poor balance > wobbleboard exercises 5. Trigger points in the quads muscles > physio 6. Trying to work when it's still sore > time off work and rest
