sounds like the company has a loan fund....he has the shares...we will be the dummies in the middle for his company to buy them.....he buys out of profits?????? who knows - am sure the LYC director did this play at one stage..the shares went up..profits taken (ie pay for shares from shareholders profits) then the price goes crashing down again..my theory only.
