Whilst the year was very busy operationally and moved the Company
forward in a number of
areas, I acknowledge that our market performance has not been as good as we would like. The
Board, like all shareholders, is extremely concerned about the performance of the Company’s
shares. Shareholders need to be aware that, no
twithstanding the difficult external conditions
confronting companies throughout the gold sector, the Board, with Management, is focused on
making further progress in the areas we can control. Our goal is to enhance shareholder value to
the best of our abi
lities. The Board remains committed to, and confident in, the future of this
Company. Neither the Board nor management will be distracted as we work hard to bring this
project to fruition.
