We are looking for our Department Project Management in Essen for a/an
Project Manager CH(C)P (m/f)
Responsibilities
System design and set-up of CHCP plants including design and set-up of control systems and electrotechnical infrastructure
Definition and implementation of engine supervision, configuration and electronical system management
Project management for the implementation and built up of customer sized CHCP plants in time and budget
Organize and supervise the construction and commissioning phase, assure supreme reliability and quality
Implementing supported by HSSE ECT’s non-zero accident policy
Strict consideration of vital project requirements in all project phases
Coordination of internal and external service suppliers
Communication with all parties and persons involved in the project
Analysis of control system and electrotechnical performance weaknesses or system faults
Coordination of permit procedures and assuring awareness of new obligations and limits
Evaluation concerning new technologies within the CH(C)P market and implementation of advanced new technologies into ECT’s business
Reporting to Head of Project Management
Key performance indicators for this position are:
HSSE indicators during construction
Generation costs per kWh produced
Time schedule for commissioning and takeover
Capex budgets
Plant availability
Cost reduction targets
Qualifications
Relevant University education (computer science or engineering)
Deep knowledge of CHP control and IT and electrotechnics in general
Experience in system testing (e.g., factory acceptance test, integrated system test, site acceptance test, commissioning (e.g., performance tuning, loop checkout) and troubleshooting (e.g., root cause failure analysis and correction)
Proven track record of successful CH(C)P projects
Financial orientation and cost awareness
Minimum 5 years experience in international project management in relevant fields
Strong communication skills and convincing personality
Very good negotiating and conflict solving skills combined with skill to balance interests
Strong assertiveness in representing the company’s interests in an external environment exposed to strong pressure, routine and command in handling conflict situations
Excellent analytical skills
Ambitious, target oriented and positive with customers and colleguages at the top of mind
Intercultural skills – fluent in English
