    Interesting question Rushray.

OPV appear to still be talking redox (solid state) couples and dye...

"...Oxford PV’s solid state DSC has been specifically developed to overcome these three problems through using a solid-state redox couple, the energy of which can be much more closely matched to the energy of the hole on the dye, minimizing the voltage loss in the dye regeneration process..."

...so you would expect DYE's current license to cover it. The Annual EPFL License holder talks are probably imminent so we'll probably see something on this soon. Also, I doubt that this hasn't been discussed to death by DYE's board and squared away.

Also, it looks like the Oxford mob are shaping up as a contender in the glass area - I guess the fact that DYE already has a co-operative venture with one of the four largest glass makers in the world through DyeTec-Solar is good for DYE. The aluminium issue is interesting.

I also think that the CEO of Dyetec Solar Bill McCreary who was (is) an NSG VP may have already recruited some R&D cash into this over the last year as solid state has emerged...you'd have to wouldn't you - who wont be buying 3rd gen solar glass in 4 years?

Maybe Marc Thomas. CEO of Dyesol Inc (DYE Team America...f#@k yeah...) might have some news soon as well..

    Let the games begin...again.

    ...yeah baby...
