Anteo Enters Into Sales Partnership Agreement With Gennova Scientific

Anteo Diagnostics and Gennova Scientific (“Gennova”) are pleased to announce that they have entered into a Sales Partnership Agreement.

Under this Agreement Anteo will sell Mix&Go surface chemistry to Gennvoa and Gennova will distribute co-branded product to their customers in academic and industrial research in Europe and Latin America.

The Mix&Go sold by Gennova can be used by customers to functionalise a wide variety of beads, biosensor surfaces, glass slides and microtitre plates. Additional products may be added based on customer requests.

Anteo Will Be At AACC - Houston, BOOTH 3664

We will, again, be present at this year's AACC Annual Meeting and Clinical Lab Expo - the largest dedicated clinical laboratory meeting in the world to be held July 28-Aug. 1, at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas.

We are looking forward to seeing many of our current partners, as well as talking to additional companies about the benefits of using Mix&Go for the attachment of biomolecules to synthetic surfaces.

You’ll find us at Booth 3664.

If you would like to schedule a meeting please email: [email protected]

We hope to see you there!

Bioseparations and Immunoprecipitation on Magnetic Particles Using Mix&Go.
Bioseparation processes and immunoprecipitation protocols increasingly use magnetic particles as the supporting surface for antibodies and other capture agents for the purification and identification of antigens of interest.

Recent work done at the Anteo labs shows that Mix&Go surfaces improve outcomes for bioseparations by increasing binding capacity, purity and yield in antibody (IgG) purification. We have demonstrated a variety of advantages over current standard surfaces in immunoprecipitation applications.

Fig. 1 shows the performance of Mix&Go coated Protein A beads from Chemagen compared to a commercially available control (Dynal). The first bar shows the starting amount of IgG (antibody) and serves as a control. After incubation with the two Protein A products, less of the antibody remains in the supernatant with the Mix&Go beads showing that Mix&Go beads capture more of the antibody (2nd set of bars). The third set of bars shows that neither product releases antibodies during the wash steps. The 4th set shows the elution step – where the antibody is released and recovered. The Mix&Go beads outperform the control by releasing almost double the amount of the target antibody.

Check out our second video on how to correctly wash your magnetic particles.

This 1 minute tutorial takes you through some of the simple yet crucial steps that must be performed while washing magnetic particles. The correct method of washing can prevent your sample from irreversible aggregation, a problem common to many standard approaches, and keep your particle concentration constant throughout the procedure.
