I think ms gillard may have under estimated the reaction to her alleged phone calls to shut down Michael Smith and those stories so many months ago.
As you said Moondoong, Michael Smith is like a dog with a bone, he will not give up, he has seen a wrong and will do everything in his power to see it right. And it seems he knows where to go and who to contact to move things along too.
Good I say, there should not be THE cover up that there seems to have been, if gillard is innocent, that's good too, but why on earth doesn't she just come out and assist with the investigation instead of just repeating her "I have done nothing wrong" remark? Let the Police or Fraud Squad say that for her then we might believe it...
I think that Ralph Blewitt has a lot of sympathy from Smith as well in that he was possibly walked over by the same people. And that probably urges Michael Smith on and not just give up as all too hard.
