oz lawmakers call for split from u.k. monarchy, page-12

So instead of a monarchy where we are lorded over by a two-party legislative dictatorship ostensibly in the name of a ruling monarch (but probably not really) we would just have the two-party legislative dictatorship without the monarch? Kind of like Amerika where the monarch has merely been replaced by the corporations and banks?

I'm not seeing the benefit here.
