Yesterday’s ann on infrastructure, whilst encouraging, is not exactly new though. SYR mentioned the Moz Govt had “made an offer for water rights” way back – refer AGM preso in November 2013 - only it appears the dam is now closer – it was 14 km from the project, now its 10 km?????

The port has always been there and SYR confirmed way back it could handle requirements, they said the road was always being upgraded and the electricity was always in the process of being upgraded and delivered to site.

The Mozambique Water Authority has offered water rights from Chipembe Dam located just 10 km from the proposed site of the Balama processing plant

-Anticipated that Balama graphite concentrate will be transported and shipped from Pemba Port
Less than 1km from major road connecting the project directly to airport and sea port
Nearby Balama township provides access to schools, medical facilities, shops and labour – electricity to Balama in process of being upgraded
