I worked in a dry town called Woorabinda and still do between Dingo and Baralaba. Witch has got 2 warring tribes living there; they have been fighting since the year dot. Got back to Brisbane late last year after 3 years away. One thing is that if you don’t go trying to hassle them they pretty much leave you along Male or Female, They had their own justice system for years and had hardly any crime. However Howard changed it to what is now and that’s when the crime picked up, after asking them why, (myself) the common answer was that once that happened the young ones didn’t respected the elders anymore, And this is what they should change now. They all pay rent and there dole is payed to them less the cost of food which they get vouchers for and rent is taken out of it, if there kids go to school they get the balance paid to them. As far as dry town go it’s about as dry as the pub where I live in Springwood in Logan hottest crime spot in Brisbane is the Valley and always has been BTW. The teachers and nurses get in there car and drive to work just like me, However the ones that live close to the school and hospital get taken home by non-white people so never a problem. As far as walking to shops at night they are not open or on weekends. There is crime there but it’s more between the two groups and kids damaging the schools and the like, just like every town. I still have building contracts there and in 3 other towns just like it. To paint them all as vermin is just plain wrong. I can find more white vermin than I can dark even in places like Rocky. If you watch ACA or whatever what they have in common is the lack of dark people unless they happen to be pushing it on the day, like find the fatty or would you park here or drivers getting mad or spot the Muslim they push one or tens things because it’s good for ratings
