It has been my perception of Morgan, over many years, that "he" is a little more to the Left than most, polls wise.

Not accusing "adjustment" - but sometimes push polling questioning obtains the answer one might prefer. Which then shows a realtively "skewed" result.

No way did ANYONE predict anything like a landslide for Howard to come in 1996. Polls, or otherwise. On the day, it wasn't a landslide - it was a collapse of Mt. Everest!

I recall that great and amazing result that day precisely - as it was a wedding day for someone in our family. A very joyful day all round!

I hope September 14th turns out to be the same. For the sake of Australia. Three more years of Labor and Australia WILL be just the white trash of Asia Hawke (I think) predicted we might become.

Gillard will now turn on her "Mother Theresa" blowtorch. Pulling the "aren't I "nice" and "luverly" switch. (How could you NOT vote for wonderful MOI?) AND more pork barrelling.

She may marry Tim meanwhile. Or go up to Jakarata and pretend to yell at Pres. Bang Bang. Who knows what McTernan's got planned for her next act? Desperate people take desperate measures.

How about an automatic handout, Ms. Gillard - say $50,000, per person, to ANYONE who gets the sack. (Let's not restrict the cossetting to your pork barrelling aimed at Ford workers, (Who, unlike most - have 3 years notice), eh? dear PM!)
