Hey folks. Given the repeated failure to deliver on timeline predictions from FARs presentations, I'm paying little heed to the latest forecast of an L9 farmout end June, with L6 end July.
But here's a question.. Given earlier predictions of farmouts around April, which coincided with Anadarko's first drill result, could we be completely reliant on success from a neighbour before getting a drill partner? The current dates are around the time we'd expect to see Anadarko's second drill result. So could the farmouts be in place and ready to go but reliant on some positive news? If we see another duster you'd have to think that a potential partner would be offering less favourable terms. That would be 3 unsuccessful deep water drills in the vicinity. There could be a 'success' farmout, with good news from the neighbours and better terms for FAR, or a 'failure' farmout with bad news and worse terms, or maybe nothing till later in the year after more neighbours drills..
Just a thought but I'd be keen to hear people's thoughts.
