    for my mind, all that would refer to is the fact that Metgasco had obligations under the ASX Listing Rules.

    I would say that Metgasco would have beleived that any announcement of approvals etc, would have been market sensitive, and therefore would need to request the shares of MEL to be placed in a Trading Halt prior to the Govt (or MEL) announcing the Approvals.

    So to me the above is simply confirming that MEL did not want the Govt releasing the info before it had a chance to abide by its ASX obligations, to ensure an informed marketplace.

    and in the ABC doc shown in the link on Energiseme's post, I think it is telling, that only one paragraph of the letter is revealed.

    at what point does the "twisting"f the truth become a lie?
