Dear Gunson, Thank you for that report. It gives us a good heads up on what is happening across all facets of the company.
The sorts of things covered in your report are what I expected the consultants in the strategic review to cover, and to drill down with some detailed analysis and suggestions. That was one of their terms of reference for the consultancy, yet you let them get away without addressing this, simply by saying there was not enough time. I can’t understand how you let them get away with this. Presumably you still paid them?
As it is, all they gave you was, basically, a few recommendations to cut some costs and get on with doing a deal on Coburn. Well, I reckon your own management team could have come up with these recommendations, with a bottle of port in the conference room on a Friday arvo.
Oh well, that is history now. Moving on, thanks again for this update, especially as it gives us a good insight into all the irons we have in the fire with Gunson. I look forward to receiving more such reports.
