    re: re:banjar: donhoop diabetes anyone? Don, don't ignore this problem but go and get more advice. Most public hospitals have a diabetes clinic with a nutritionist and support staff attached. Go and see if you can get an appointment as they have all the experience and information. (they also have teenage clinics which help keep things in perspective!)
    My mother lived to a great age with late onset diabetes but lost her sight and had her leg amputated at 90, so it's not a question of longevity but of quality of life.
