A high blood suger reading especially in someone who is doing all the "right things" could actually be an indication of something else wrong.

Blood sugar level is only one small part of the bodies hormonal and metobolic system. If one part of this system is out of whack it can throw your whole system out.

Unfortunately to many Doctors look at the most obvious problem without looking for hidden under lying problems and from experience most do not know what they are looking at or for.

No family history of problems in these areas also means very little. More and more people are developing problems in these areas due to modern living and the effects of pesticides, herbicides, antibiotics, food additives, plastics just to name a few sources.
