rovert, as you can see from earlier posts, I have only used company information to check out the heat balance equation - mobile_macca suggested I buy some shares, so I did my DD.
Peter is ERJ's Senior Engineer. He was helpful on the phone, but couldn't really answer how they could get the cooling water cool enough in the high temperatures normal at Carnarvon, except that the wet bulb temperatures showed that it would work. But for that to work the heat exchangers need to be kept wet with a good flow of air over them, and he couldn't be sure how much water was required, accurate to an order of magnitude.
As I said on another thread, this company is very low on cash, hopeless in meeting deadlines, looks tricky as far as the cooling goes and will only have this site running for 6 to 9 months at the most.
So I think I'll pass on macca's suggestion!
