Prime Minister Gillard is doing much good for the opposition. With the Prime Minister's help, voters can see the true face of socialism and unionism. Not a disguised version or toned down version- the true version.
We need the Prime Minister to say more mad things to assist with the opposition's election campaign. Like Denben, duty, mmartin, cgt2009, fatsoh, hoodlum, their work in highlighting the starkness between the government and the opposition is invaluable. You can't get votes if you can't highlight distinctions between choices- all you can do is hope they choose you.
And so with the Prime Minister's marginal and mad idea that her words about Abbott will garner votes, the public can see the reality compared to her words. That starkness is apparent, and thus in my view the opposition doesn't need to hope voters choose them over the ALP, they know voters will choose them over the ALP.
The idea that the Prime Minister thinks her attack on Abbott will assist in winning the election is extraordinary but also welcomed by me as a conservative.
