Lost 14k on adult shop some years ago. Price pummelled when credit card purchases were not honoured by banks, resulting in a much poorer than predicted profit result.
Mother in law said it served me right investing in such woeful companies!
Her thoughts reiterated by my bible wielding accountant at tax time. uurgh!
After selling them too cheap to pursue other stocks I watched them climb back to what I paid for them.
Valuable lesson learned about choosing the right time to sell.
Happy to say that Ive had some very profitable years since and can have a good kak about that one.
