Old rules, easy to change. The current administration is about discouraging mining investment. But don't worry, they've been talking about it for years and will probably keep bumbling about it forever and early talk was that existing projects won't be affected. But if the Pres was to get his way I'm sure he would love some sort of mega tax or nationalisation. The mineral industry lobby groups and political moderates will hopefully keep it all in check.
