If school visits by pollies can be shown to have a genuine motive for the benefit of children, not barrow-pushing, then I'm fine with that.
Garrett and Gillard though are about publicity for themselves and their hair-brained schemes. That is rotten.
I am sickened when I see Gillard caressing children for political gain. She (and Garrett) make my skin crawl and I would do my best as a parent keep them away from kids.
