No particular reason for SLR posts except I had a bunch and sold for just over $1. Les D was considered a superman when times were good but it seems he is human as production costs had escalated for SLR, like other ASX Gold stocks, over the last couple of years. Now the tide has gone out it seems Les was also naked.
If The AUD hadn't fallen 10% many ASX Gold stocks would be closing mines right now. However the falling AUD is only a temporary reprieve. I expect many ASX Gold miners & explorers to go into administration. SLR will probably survive but don't think the SP can't fall back to the 20's like 2008. What would be the case if Gold fell to $1,200 or $1,100 or even $1,000. Don't think it can happen well it was only 4 years ago that Gold rose & stayed above $1,000 for the 1st time ever (except for a short stint in 2008 after which Gold fell back to $700).
