Have a read of the BCC thread and the letter to shareholders from the 249d proposers. Not cross promoting as I dont own BCC but there are parralles to SSN.
BCC have taken on a comittment to lease ther own rig at $70K/day (SSN's is only $30K/day :))and tried to raise equity unsucsessfully when the SP was at near all time lows.
Seems its a common problem for specs. They might have the oil but they dont have the money.
