Well, whatever the reason, Mr Market is clearly sending AVB holders a message. The weekend may be a good time to take a step back and reflect/analyse ones investment from alternative perspectives.

There was a lot of hype written on HC in the lead up to this week's announcement by many of the faithful, but once again Mr Market did not share those aspirations. There is a message there.

I can well empathise with people's optimism about their investments/punts when news is imminent(using the "punt" word because AVB is a plaything for some and they are only playing with money they can afford to lose). Its like following your footy team. The punters wouldn't need to worry I would imagine, because they have made it clear AVB is a speculative flurry for them.

But for those whose AVB exposure is a more "hard core" investment, the weekend may be a good time to recalibrate one's investment rationale because expectations of people doubling their money - or even just seeing 0c this week proved to be a sobering disappointment for those affected.

Others here, including myself, are not so surprised.

Like you bigb888 I am not trying to be sarcastic...just making an observation and thinking out loud more than lecturing. Its just that people need to ask themselves some questions...and, sure, maybe it won't change any individuals conclusions in respect AVB, but there is never any harm in challenging/re-visiting one's investment rationale from tie to time.
