In October 2009 Biota shareholders were buoyant when the price hit $3.47. Since then the price has continued to go only in one direction - south - and we have been left wondering when and if we would ever return to a share price of $3.47.
Well we hit that magical price again late last week on the NASDAQ. Pity that we had to get there by continuing to head in one direction only - south - and hit this price after accepting one share for every eight we owned.
So,effectively, we have lost 87.5% of our value in just over three and half years. Way to go those who have been been paid handsomely for steering the ship at BIOTA - every move they have (and haven't) made has been detrimental to the realizing value for long term shareholders.
