    I'm only having a guess here so don't take what I say as anything more than that, a guess.. But I think this could be a broker that is selling clients shares for a tax loss while the volume is high... 800k traded in under an hour on a stock with about 67m tradable shares can't be sustained for ever without a shifting SP!
