sure cujo. If you are averaging down because of hope and are the fall-in-love-and-scared-to-sell type of a person then I would also advice against it.
However, read one of my earlier posts about what will happen if there is a lull in announcements. I am simply trading that. My valuation of KAR is far higher than what it is priced at today, I wouldn't average up/down, if that wasn't the case.
If they hit 500m column of gas and sp stays at 5.50, I will average up for example.
I have not ruled out CR - credit markets will be tightening and will keep cash for it just in case.
