bonehead, An excellent explanation re: option expiry etc but never the less it stinks. Pure manipulation and once again the ASX turns its back and by default endorses this action. Just like Wang being squeezed out. I could repeat the same story 100 times and the theme / response would never alter especially from the ASX. For years I played BHP options and just co-incidentally they always finished / expired exactly on a strike price where the big volumes were centered, thus preventing execution for most puts or calls. Simply amazing that year after year the same scenario repeats itself just different stocks I guess. Equally amazing is the share price movement immediately following the option expiry dates when the shorts re-cover. Simply a disgrace IMO.
