to believe a God created the intricacies of nature is to believe this God created all kinds of evil, poisons, diseases & dangers. This would be a very cruel God.
I think to rejoice in creation must come from living a very comfortable materialistic life and possibly a childhood playing X-Box or something. There must be some kind of blindness to the inherent sufferings & challenges of life.
I doubt the Xian doctrine of salvation via love on the cross is related to creationism. Where in the Gospels did Yeusha emphasise creationism?
